OMG - it's been 40 years since this weight......

Back in July, I achieved a significant milestone: I had broken the 200-pound barrier and dropped into the 190s, officially entering “One-derland.”
Thanks to these medications, my weight loss journey continued, and I surpassed my original overall weight loss goal of 190 pounds, which I had set back at the beginning of 2024.
I’ve now dropped into the 180s, a weight I haven’t been at since early high school, which was 40 years ago! As thrilled as I am, this achievement made me reflect on the past four decades of struggling with my weight. Not so happy memories came flooding back to being overweight in high school, and all the challenges, teasing and misery that came with it. But thankfully that is all in the past.
In addition to the incredible inches lost and all the pounds, we used our Styky 3D Scanner to measure my body’s volume. It turned out that my body has shrunk by 9.5 gallons, which is the same as two 5-gallon water bottles! It’s simply amazing.

Those two water bottles are the amount of volume missing from my body since starting on these GLP-1 medications!
During the Journey - the loss was never a straight line - I had two extended plateaus - the first was almost 90 days long between Oct and Dec 2024. The second about 60 days between June and July 2025.
My BMI has dropped from 41.5 (which is considered Class 3 Obese) to 30.4 currently. I'm about 2lbs away from getting to 29 which would take me out of the Obese category into Overweight.
And I've gone from almost half my body being fat (44.9%) now all the way down to 28.8%.
We are here to help others on their Journey as well.
