My Latest Results for October - the inches keep dropping off....

Posting my latest results, about five weeks after my last update — and the headline this month is the inches.

Our Styku 3D scanner really is an amazing tool for tracking progress, and I've said before why it's critical: with weight loss, people get obsessed with that one number on the scale. Their whole emotional state rides on it. And the scale, bless its heart, is a liar at least half the time.

This month is a perfect case study. Scale: modest movement. Nothing dramatic. If I were a scale-only person, I'd call this a "meh" month.

The scan tells the real story: inches continuing to come off — waist, hips, chest. The fat is leaving even when the pound-counter is being lazy. Body composition improving. That's what progress actually looks like in the middle stretch of a journey: quieter on the scale, steady in the shape.

I post these partly for accountability and partly because I know how many patients are in their own "meh" month right now, wondering if things have stalled. Come get scanned. Let the machine show you what your bathroom scale can't. Five weeks of "nothing" on the scale can hide five weeks of real change — and seeing it on a screen changes how you feel about the next five.

The inches keep dropping. Trust the process.

Hey folks — Healthline published a good roundup on this and I wanted to share it, because it's the same stuff we talk about in clinic all the time. (Link to the full article at the bottom, as always.)
